One of Dublin’s most exciting young bands Daviis will be playing a somewhat hastily organised show this Saturday night in The Grand Social. January can be a bit of a downer, the festive season often leaves us with a little extra round the waist and a whole lot less in the pocket. Daviis and friends are only too aware of this, that’s why they’ve crammed the line-up once again while only asking a fiver on the door in return. You’d spend that on one multi-national corporation coffee for heaven’s sake.

Completing the line-up on the night will be electro chanteuse ZaPho – fresh off her support tour with Cathy Davey- as well as an acoustic set from Outsider. Having had his song Miol Mor Mara included on the soundtrack for FIFA 18 Outsider is another young Irish artist that looks set to ‘kick on’ (sorry, I’m better that that…really I am).

So, if your January has been a little too dry thus far or if your New Year’s resolution is to discover more great tunes Saturday night at The Grand Social is as good a place as any to start.
