One of our Plec Picks 2014, Daithí, has been ticking over recently with spectacular gigs and remixes like the We Cut Corners track we premiered here on GP. With a set release date (finally) of June 6th for his debut album, things are looking up for our handsome Plec Pick.
For this track Kalabanx has taken the recent Daithí single Have to Go and given it the once over – I think you’ll like the results.
Kalabanx is an Irish producer who has been involved in music for almost ten years. In the past 12 months he has been developing his “Kalabanx” project taking influences from garage, house and hip hop. His first release was is the remix he made for Katy B’s “5AM”, which Kalabanx’s take was the winning track out of 650 entries, selected by Katy B and Rinse FM.

Also, Daithí is playing a gig in Cork this Friday and the Love System gig in Dublin with Le Galaxie and Ships on the 9th of May so be sure to check him out.
