There’s a real dirt of Halloween themed shows on this year so what’s on offer for those of us that would rather escape the world of sexy handmaiden’s and go to a show? The answer could be Kakkmaddafakka.

No we didn’t just clear our throats, Kakkmaddafakka are a Norwegian band from Bergen, home to the likes of Royskopp and Sigrid, in fact the district is so musically prolific that they’ve christened the scene Bergen-wave in Scandinavia.

The six-piece group have released 5 albums to date including 2017’s ‘Hus’. Kakkmaddafakka are known for their high-energy live shows and should provide a nice antidote for anybody looking to escape the bangers by dancing to some indie pop bangers.

Kakkmaddafakka play The Grand Social, Dublin on October 31st. Tickets €16.00.
