Dublin native Leanne Harte has been on the go since 15 when she made her first live appearance at Vicar Street. Talk about a debut! Since then she’s had nationwide tours, television appearances, radioplay and of course, a heap of critical acclaim. Not one to rest on her laurels Leanne Harte has a new 5-track EP in the works with an Autumn release date planned.
When Leanne came down to the National Concert Hall for her acoustic session we knew we had to pick a special location for her shoot. Aiming big, we filmed her on the middle staircase in a three storey room. Our friends at Musicians With Cameras (who filmed the video) and Hi-Tone Studios (who recorded the on-location audio) did a fantastic job capturing the subtle scale of the performance. When you watch the video you can see Leanne smile with delight as her voice fills the vast space. After the cameras stopped rolling Leanne mentioned how her guitar had never sounded so good. A stripped back performance of Restless Sleepers that fills a three storey is a testament to the talents of the young Ms. Harte.
