International pop sensation CMAT has shared an epic five-minute country gem in the form of ‘I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!’

The Dubliner’s third single further establishes her as one of the most exciting acts to emerge in Ireland in 2020 and is the perfect taster in the lead-up to her performance at Ireland Music Week in two weeks time.

‘I Wanna be a Cowboy, Baby!’: It’s mainly about urban isolation – about having all of the freedom and resources to do whatever you want but still choosing to do nothing out of deeply-embedded social anxiety and detachment from your own emotions.” explains CMAT.

“Sometimes you just turn around and ask yourself, “Why is my life crap? I don’t do anything, Why not?”. I never really have an answer to that, but I wish it was different. I want to be a cowboy instead.’

CMAT will follow-up her Ireland Music Week performance with several sold out shows in Whelan’s and the Kino, Cork.
