City of Culture NYE announces first headliners

Tickets have just gone on sale for the first ever Irish national City of Culture NYE show as Limerick stands proud over the inaugural event.

Taking place under the spire at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, the concert is to set the tone for a year of amazing culture in Limerick. Heading down to ring in the new year are Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries who will perform some of the band’s most famous songs back by the Irish Chamber Orchestra.

If that’s not enough Maverick Sabre will also be getting you dancing as the ball drops on 2014. More acts will be added to the lineup and tickets are €15 and on sale now from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
