Having made his name as the producer behind much of Fynch’s beloved ‘Bookies Pens and Loose Ends’ EP, Chxmist returns on Waiting For You, a collaboration with Galweigan vocalist Anna Mooney.

Chxmist creates a rich atmospheric bed from choppy drum grooves and atmospheric synths for Mooney to deliver a soaring vocal performance.

Chxmist says the track centres around “a sonic balance between the darkness of a lockdown and the relief, a collective sigh of hope”.

“The recurring message is repetitive and simple, that while we wait through these times, there is still hope in what is to come,” says Anna Mooney of Waiting For You.
