Choice Prize Song Of The Year nominated artist Chubby Cat has shared her debut EP ‘THE FINE ART OF DISASSOCIATION’. The 4-track collection features recent single Got Hope and Oh Honey! and new single Dear Diary (I Wanna Die).
The alt-electro pop artists was nominated for Artists of The Year and Single of The Year at this year’s NI Music Prize which took place last night in Belfast.
“After three years of composing these songs, it’s such a joy to see them all together in a small body of work as my debut EP. I could not be more proud of the work that’s gone into this project. “TFAOD” serves as a significant milestone in my career as an Artist and a look into the way I see things and feel things around me but most importantly, hear things” offers Chubby Cat off the EP.
“These five tracks converse about everything I can’t say out loud. Using my vocals at the forefront of the project was very important to me, being that my voice is my main instrument. My vocal leads the project while everything else around it falls into place to create the music, lyrics and structure…”
To celebrate the release of Chubby Cats Debut EP, she will headline The Union Bar, Belfast (with support from Lucy Bell) tomorrow (Nov 15th).
