The Christmas FM Song Contest has been the source of some great new Christmas tunes over the last few years (and lets be honest, a few ropey ones too, but you have to applaude those that at least tried). It’s a fantastic opportunity for aspiring singer/songwriters to be heard by the nation to Christmas FM’s avid audience. Simply write and record your very own Christmas song or cover version and fill out the online entry form at www.christmasfm.com and you never know – you could be hearing your song played on the very popular radio station this Christmas!

The winning entry will be played live on air and will be named the Official Christmas FM Song of the Year.

Closing date for entries is midnight Tuesday, 8th December 2015.

Christmas FM is run as a not-for-profit operation with 100% of donations going directly to the charity. The station is funded by sponsorship which covers all the costs and is sponsored this year by An Post and Lidl. Once again, Christmas FM will broadcast from the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin who have kindly given the studio space for free. More than 100 volunteers will participate across the on-air production and promotion of the station this year, each devoting between 20 and 50 hours of their time.

This year, all funds raised will go to Make A Wish Ireland. Since 2008,
