The genius festive bringers of Christmas FM have announced the finalists for the 2010 Irish Christmas song contest.

They had a strong panel of judges including Lauren Murphy (The Irish Times), Martin Burns (News of the World), Jackie Hayden (Hotpress) and Keith Johnson (IMRO) all casting an ear over the entries.

The multiple entries that came in were whittled down to four and are to be the following

SONG A: Garrett Wall – How Christmas was meant to be
SONG B: The Allstars – Over the Rooftops
SONG C: The Best Men – This is Christmas to me
SONG D: Snow Business – Christmas Time

The four finalists songs will now be playlisted on Christmas FM and can be found to listen to on the Christmas FM Website (Listen HERE). If you like a song give it your vote by texting SONG followed by a space and the letter A,B,C or D to 57000. All proceeds from the texts go to Barnardos so not only are you supporting a top tune, your donating to charity, double the good feeling.

Voting ends December 12th at midnight. The winner of the contest gets to professionally record the song, a €500 gift voucher and playlisted on Christmas FM and released as a charity single for Barnardos similar to how Funzo’s single who won last year was released this year.
