Tracy Clifford announced the Choice Music Prize ‘Song of the year 2019’ shortlist on 2FM today. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 5th in Vicar Street. As ever the shortlist is bound to make people shake their heads in dismay as their favourite tracks of 2019 didn’t make the final cut. But really, isn’t that half the fun of Choice? And in the end the real winner is whichever song you like anyway.
