The nominations for the RTE Choice Music Prize album of the year 2019 were announced live on 2FM by Tracy Clifford and Jim Carroll today.
The Choice Music Prize has thrown up some unexpected results in recent years with smaller acts such as Ships and O Emperor taking home the prize at the last two award shows.
