Chicago trio Horsegirl are set to make their Irish live debut live at The Workman’s Club in June 2025. The group’s second album Phonetics On and On produced by Cate Le Bon was recorded in their hometown in January which turned out to be the coldest days in Chicago in 2024. the band powered through recording in The Loft with the heating off to avoid sound interference. The results see the group leaning in brighter, clearer, sonic territories than their 2022 debut ‘Visions of Modern Performance’.
