Acclaimed German cellist, Leonard Elschenbroich brings his ‘My Cello, My Voice’ tour to the Freemasons’ Hall, Dublin on 19 November. Boasting an eclectic, and demanding, programme of solo works by Bach, Hindemith, Piatti, Tavener, and Lombardi, this concert explores the dichotomy between technique and emotion. Elschenbroich’s exquisite choice of repertoire will be interpolated with his musings on the selected works, and their significance within his development as a musician thus far. The tour will also visit Limerick, Sligo, Kilkenny, Birr, Clifden, Galway, Castlebar, and Letterkenny, before its conclusion at the Pavilion Theatre in DĂșn Laoghaire on 29 November.
