Cathy Davey has been lying low for the past year following her 2016 album ‘New Forest’.

However, the Dublin singer-songwriter has just announced a very special gig happening later this month.

Davey will take to the stage at the Unitarian Church on Stephen’s Green on Friday the 23rd of March to record her new album ‘Bare Bones’ to an audience of only 170 people.

The album will be recorded live in full and released on vinyl for Record Store Day – April 21st.

Joined on stage only by closest musical allies, Derren Dempsey on guitar and Stephen Kiernan on drums, Davey has said that the ‘Bare Bones’ album and tour is a “stripped back sound” and one which she feels best represents her and her music.

Her live shows are always a treat with this one expected to be even more special and unique.
