Bon Iver will return to Ireland in support of their fourth album ‘i,i’ in May 2020 for a show in 3Arena. Justin Vernon will no doubt be grateful that he won’t have to contend with the “Irish snow”  that marred his performance at Forbidden Fruit in 2017.

The Dublin date will see Bon Iver return to the 3Arena for the first time since 2012 (then the O2) – ah would you look at his little face in our photo from the night.

Emotion is transmitted so readily throughout the entire show that, at points, it becomes hard to keep from welling up, while at other points, tears flow freely. The fantastic Skinny Love, in particular, brings chills.

Support on the night will come from Vernon and Aaron Dessner of the National’s project Big Red Machine. An intense audio visual experience is guaranteed. Check out their performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert featuring the man himself Justin Vernon.
