The Body & Soul festival 2012 have got the cogs turning full speed and have cranked up the interest in this years show with the announcement of three new acts for their Summer Solstice.
The event will now be spread over three nights to celebrate their third year in business at Ballinlough Castle. Three new acts join the lineup which already includes the likes of Villagers, M83, St. Vincent, Erin Clark, Little Dragon, Gold Panda and Emika.
The three names lighting up your day are Spiritualized, Django Django and Hollie Cook. Spiritualized are only back with a brand new album ‘Sweet Heart, Sweet Light’, Django Django are radio’s new best friend with their infectiously catchy tracks and Hollie Cook will add some dubbed out reggae to proceedings keeping Body & Soul as diverse as always.
Don’t forget that the lineup also includes John Talabot, Shangaan Electro, Redinho, Herbalisers, Tieranniesaur, Kormac + big band and more to be announced too. Tickets for the weekend will cost you €99, a family tickets is €99 per adult (2 kids U12 permitted per adult) and a Sunday ticket costs €55.
