After a cryptic piece of post during last week indicating that March 21st would be an important day for something upcoming. Our guess being Body & Soul based on the poem proved right as this morning yielded the Body and Soul lineup announcement in our inbox.
The event this year is once again in Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath and will take place over June 21st to June 23rd. For their fourth festival the have snagged a huge headliner in Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will be joined by the excellent Public Image Ltd, Solange, Kurt Vile & The Violaters, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Mmoths, Willy Mason and Breton all playing the Main Stage over the weekend.
Over on the Upstage, Pantha Du Prince, Jon Hopkins, George Fitzgerald, RSAG, Iron Curtis, Almighty Sion, Monto, Adultrock, Ryan Vail and Fish Go Deep w/ Tracey K have been announced this morning too. Tickets to the show are priced at €139 for three day camping and €55 for a day tickets on the Sunday. You can combine a bus and Sunday tickets for €84. Campervan passed are €50.
