When it came to choosing a road companion for the Irish leg of the ‘Gratitude tour’ Benjamin Francis Leftwich turned to Ireland’s Rosie Carney who he describes as a “special artist”.
Leftwich’s third album ‘Gratitude’ featuring the singles Look Ma! and Real Friends is out now via Dirty Hit Records.
“Me and Rosie have been friends for a couple of years. She’s always been an artist that I really loved, she’s just a great person and she’s made a great record so it was a no brainer. She’s a special artist. She’s worked hard for it, she’s been through lots of different waves and seen the industry from lots of different angles and she’s finally found what seems like a really beautiful peaceful lane, I’m delighted for her.”

Leftwich will be in Dublin for a show in The Button Factory on March 21st. Tickets €18. And the Empire Music Hall, Belfast on March 24th. Tickets £18. Support on both nights comes from Rosie Carney.
