155px-BelsonicBelsonic returns this year as a greatly expanded festival. The popular Belfast festival will take place over three weekends, and includes several varied headliners. On Friday August 16th Basement Jaxx are the main act, followed by Ben Howard on the 17th. Then on Thursday the 22nd the Lumineers take to the main stage with Jake Bugg on the 23rd. Suede, who have marked their reunion with a new album, will play on Saturday the 24th.

The festival will then move into a third week on the August bank holiday weekend with ex-Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello’s new label Size Matters. AN21, Max Vangeli, Third Party as well as Steve himself will all perform on Sunday the 25th. Finally on the Monday, Bullet for My Valentine and Bring Me The Horizon will take to the stage.

Tickets for this highly varied line-up, which caters for all tastes, go on sale on the 15th of March at 9 am from ticketmaster.ie, belsonic.com and ticketmaster outlets nationwide. Tickets start from a very reasonable £27.50 for each individual day. Support acts for each show will be announced at a later date.
