All-ages music festival BASED will return for its third instalment this festive season. 8 up-and-coming bands will descend upon The Button Factory on December 30th 2024 for a bumper celebration of new Irish music.

The line-up for the third instalment of BASED sees Croíthe, Concrete Handbag, The Hex, NaTonnta, Pending and Cedalia joining the returning Bioluminescence and Garvan Lambert on the bill.

Presented by Fluttertone, champions of independent music in Ireland for nearly a decade, the BASED festival aims to create an inclusive space for music lovers of all ages. Festival director Colm says, “I’ve seen so much talent in bands that are fantastic but can’t get opportunities to play because they’re not 18.” BASED provides a stage for these young artists, as well as addressing the lack of safe shows for young music fans.”
