Friday 18th May in The Button Factory will see a very unique, one off show where We Cut Corners, Delorentos and The Minutes will be coming together to play a gig inspired by their Dublin roots.

Each band will be performing songs from their own catalogue along with some very unique takes on sounds that have influenced them from their home town. We are being told that on the night, those lucky enough to have won tickets on the JDroots.ie will catch songs like The Boys Are Back In Town (Thin Lizzy), Lay Me Down or Revelate (The Frames) to Mandinka (Sinead O’Connor).

Each bands individual preferences will come out on the night with Delorentos looking likes to play some Thin Lizzy, Whipping Boy and The Frames, The Minutes choosing Thin Lizzy and Whipping Boy along with My Bloody Valentine and We Cut Corners are looking to interpret tracks by Sinead O’Connor, The Frames and U2. The bands have been holding late night jamming sessions to ensure all goes smoothly and special guests are expected to join them on the night.

Demand for tickets has been phenomenal and the closing date for registration is 4th May at www.jdroots.ie. All those who register will go into a draw for tickets. There will also be a limited number of tickets available on the door. That said there are two pairs of tickets going to this show on Goldenplec over at this competition page [HERE]
