Axis Of have spent the last few years touring the UK, Ireland and Europe playing with the likes of The Bronx, Joy Formidable, Twin Atlantic and Therapy? to name a few. The time has come for them to unleash their debut album.
The album is called ‘Finding St Kilda’ and it’s out on Smalltown American on March 15th 2013. They then embark on an Irish tour from March 20th in Nancy Spain’s of Cork and rattle their way around Ireland featuring dates Limerick, Dublin, Galway and Belfast.
Friers says, “We started playing music together as kids and we decided then we’d live by two concrete rules – We’d only play music we wanted to hear and write words we thought were important. For us, the album is the perfect representation of what we are. Written by Mastodon fans hooked on Fang Island!”
