We featured the lead single, Content, back in March of this year and now the wait is over for the debut album, ‘Frend’ from Frendan aka Brendan Corcoran.

Three years in the making, this concept album “takes us on a conceptual journey through the unconscious mind of a disillusioned character in the wake of heartbreak.”

Corcoran says, “My intention was to create as multidimensional a palette of sound as possible.  I had just come out of a four-year-long creative lull, and was experiencing an explosion of ideas.  I had spent most of my life collaborating with others, playing drums in bands/working on sets, so to have complete control was an incredible feeling.”

“The entire process was massively therapeutic, and allowed me to explore as many musical avenues as I wanted to.  I ended up making over 40 songs and skits overall, eventually whittling it down to a final 14.  I really wanted the whole thing to feel authentic but with an element of caricature, as it’s mainly based on exaggerated aspects my own life experiences.
