Irish singer songwriter Padraig Jack will bring his latest album ‘These Shores’ to The Pavilion Theatre this April. Hailing from a proud tradition of singer songwriters from the Aran islands, Padraig blends Irish Gaelic and English together. He achieved acclaim with his debut album in 2020, received a nomination for an RTÉ Folk Award for Best Original Song for the album’s title track ‘Making Sand’.
Featuring contributions from family and friends as well as some Irish music legends ‘These Shores’ continues where ‘Making Sand’ left off. Produced by John Reynolds (Sinead O’Connor, Brian Eno, Belinda Carlisle) ‘These Shores’ also features two former members of The Waterboys: Anthony Thistlethwaite (0mandolin and saxophone) and Steve Wickham (fiddle).
In recent times Padraig has been playing shows with The Wonder Stuff’s Miles Hunt in the UK , performed in Wales with Welsh languageartist Meinir Gwilym and opened for The Saw Doctors in Galway.
