David Kitt, Ailbhe Reddy, CMAT and Junior Brother are just some of the exciting Irish acts performing alongside comedians Joanne McNally, Neil Delamare and Fred Cooke as part of Après Palooza – a brand new series of socially distant outdoor events happening this December.

Taking place across three days: 10-12 December in Joe Lee’s Bar in the heart of Tullamore, Co.Offaly. The venue’s outdoor space will be transformed into a cosy, rustic ski lodge complete with all the trimmings. Each 90-minute event will feature an incredibly talented line-up from stellar stand-up comedians to live musicians, bands and DJs.

Audiences will be guided through festivities by our wonderful host MayKay, all whilst sipping a complimentary hot whiskey, hot cider or mulled wine.

The eclectic line-up of brilliant Irish acts includes legendary Irish musician David Kitt, contemporary folk alt-country musician CMAT, Kerry singer Junior Brother with his witty, experimental folk and musician Ailbhe Reddy whose indie-folk has won her critical acclaim.

Soulful atmospheric vocals from Irish singer Gemma Dunleavy, the super talented folk artist David Keenan, Afro-Irish soul singer-songwriter Tolü Makay and five-piece I Draw Slow who have been consistently redefining acoustic roots music for over ten years.

Folk singer Dubh Lee with her raw vocals and slick guitar style, followed by singer Shiv who uses her unique blend of R&B and Lo-fi Hip-Hop with elements of Soul and Neo-Soul to create music that is emotive and brimming with feeling.

Fastest rising comedy star Joanne McNally brings her refreshingly honest stand-up to the bill. With sell-out Edinburgh shows ‘Wine Tamer’ and ‘The Prosecco Express’, nominated for multiple Dublin Fringe Festival awards and currently making waves on the UK comedy scene. Award-winning comedian Neil Delamere is a stalwart of the Irish comedy scene, with regular TV appearances on RTE’s ‘The Panel’, ‘Republic of Telly’ and BBC’s ‘The Blame Game’ as well as his hilarious sell-out stand up tours. Fred Cooke will deliver his unique brand of comedy through his musical prowess, physical storytelling and warm, affable stage presence. Best known for his TV work on successful RTÉ shows, ‘Republic of Telly’, ‘The Fear’ and ‘The Tommy Tiernan Show’.

Renowned for their ace music selection of disco and funk, charismatic duo Boots & Kats provide the perfect party backdrop. Bedlam DJs Brian McCarthy and Jonnie Foley have thrown some of the biggest parties and supported heavyweights like Todd Terje, Tiga and Huxley. While Dublin stalwart, Steve Reddy will satisfy everybody with his legendary eclectic sets.

“As a responsible promoter with more than 15 years experience in the events industry with a safe track record, we are committed to fully adhering to all relevant Government guidelines that will be in situ this December,” says Cherrycool Promotions founder, Cillian Stewart.

“This project has been part-funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht Sport and Media from the Live Performance Support Scheme. Without this support, we couldn’t have brought these 10 live outdoor shows to Offaly so we are very grateful of the departments pilot scheme which is helping a crucial re-emergence of safe & responsible cultural and social events all over Ireland that are critical to the wellbeing of the Irish public. We are delighted to be showcasing incredible talent not only from Offaly but from all over Ireland.”
