Ahead of regional shows this week, rising Irish songwriter Annika Kilkenny has announced a headline show at The Workman’s Cellar this December 2024. The Kilkenny native introduced her classic brand of balladeering to the world with ‘Look Mom I Made It’ last year and hasn’t looked back releasing a series of well received singles which have established her as  a standout voice in Ireland’s next generation of songwriters.

Kilkenny has been making waves internationally too, she featured in BBC Radio 4’s ‘Behind The Music’s celebration of 50 years of ABBA’ with her version of Dancing Queen, and recently opened for Grammy award-winning artist Laufey in London.

Last month’s exquisite ‘It’s Shaped You’ further marked out Annika Kilkenny as an Irish artist to keep a close eye on.
