A band around since the year I was born, ALTAN and their brand of Irish folk have translated globally and they have managed to keep going 27 years later.
27 years on and they have another studio album in the form of ‘Gleann Nimhe – The Poison Glen’ and are adding a date in Dublin to play The Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire. The gig is on May 17th 2012 and tickets will cost €22.
The band are currently on a three month American and European tour, but are dropping back to Ireland to ensure the local fans get a headline show.
