Ahead of their appearance at Electric Picnic next month, alt-rock trio HAVVK have shared fiery new single ‘Expiry’, which gives the middle finger to societal expectations.

“It’s about ageing as gracefully or ungracefully as you want, giving a middle finger to any expectations on how you should dress or behave, and particularly for me, enjoying being in a band and understanding new parts of my personality the older I get,” explains lead singer Julie Hawk.

‘Expiry’ follows in the footsteps of May’s ‘Daylight Robbery’ and indicates that the band are in a good place as they build towards their third album cycle.
