Albert Niland is a virtuoso guitarist who great up in Galway but learned to make guitars cry in the clubs of San Francisco where he moved in 1994. In 2000 he was invited to be the guitarist on a little known show called ‘Riverdance’ and was there for three years.
Following that, ‘Dirty Day’ was released followed by a infamous live album ‘Paradiso’ recorded in Amsterdam. However it’s the return to Irish soil we are most interested in today with the announcement that he will play Whelans on February 8th 2012.
Tickets are €13 and available from Whelanslive.com and WAV Box Office.
