Bit of a shocker here, we dont have much information on it, having seen it on state and checked it out, it seems that indeed Adrian Mullan (The drummer) has left Fight Like Apes. The statement on the website reads
Due to creative differences, Adrian Mullan and Fight Like Apes have parted company. MayKay, Pockets and Tom wish Adrian all the best in his future creative endeavours; as they continue to work on new material for their forthcoming second album.
Rather disappointed to be reporting this kind of news, Fight Like Apes have been one of our favourite bands for a while, since early 07 and we enjoyed each of their gigs we were at, from the Academy to Trinity Ball to the album launch which we reviewed to even helping make the video for “Something Global” in Whelans with Eoghan Kidney.
Although this is one member leaving the band, we hope this wont affect the dynamic of the band or signal an eventual demise of what it has to be said, was one of Irelands most promising bands.
