AccessThruMusicArmstrong Learning NI have announced a new course called AccessThruMusic which is offering unemployed 16-24 year old Northern Irish people that chance to learn key skills to help them find employment.

It’s completely FREE with lunch and travel also provided each day. The monthly course offers the lucky attendees the opportunity to apply for and then be interviewed to obtain a role within a record label, once appointed they work on the marketing campaign for an artist signed to Universal. By working alongside music industry professionals they will learn how a marketing team works and gain the hands on experience required to introduce an artist to the market place. The artist will only be revealed to the students on their final day at a ‘Big Reveal’ party, which means they will have to be very creative and forward thinking individuals.

Connor Fitzgerald, Armstrong Learning NI Business Manager said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for the young people of Northern Ireland. To have the chance to meet and work with mentors who have the experience and contacts is one thing but also to be able to work with artists signed to a major record label is something that most of us could only dream of. I wish there had been a course like this available when I was young and I know that everyone who has completed the programme already has loved every minute and achieved a lot personally from it, I would recommend it to anyone aged 16-24 who wants to find their key interest in life and requires a helping hand to kick start their future.
