Absolut have announced the creation of Absolut Clubbing Council which aims to mentor and fund up-and-coming promoters to realise their potential and hold their dream event.
To help realise this vision Absolut have assembled a craic team key personalities within Irish clubbing culture including internationally recognised Irish DJ Krystal Klear, activist Andrea Horan and event promoters & record label Souletiquette.
Together with Absolut, the Clubbing Council aims to support the next generation of clubbing and invest in Irish club culture by actively supporting day & night club culture in Ireland – giving back to promoters, venues and punters – who want to attend creative & engaging club events.
The Absolut Clubbing Council is giving up-and-coming club promoters the support to create their dream event – giving life to venues that have been dormant for too long and creating a perfect We Are Made To Mix event for clubgoers.
“Dublin is my home and where I grew up but I had to move away to pursue my career as a DJ. I’ve recently moved back home to Dublin and I think there’s real hope and opportunity to bring Ireland back in terms of creating an innovative and exciting club culture. I have the privilege of DJ-ing all around the world and seeing the best of day and night culture in the biggest cities in the world. I know Ireland can compete with any country in the world, we have so much talent and creativity here – I’m excited to be working on this and be part of the Absolut Clubbing Council and I can’t wait to see where this project goes and the ripple effect it may have.” says Absolut Clubbing Council member Krystal Klear.
