A. Smyth is back with Long Night his first new music since the release of his well received debut album ‘Last Animals’ last year.
“Long Night is a song about how the world is being increasingly rigged to disconnect us,” says A. Smyth. “The way we’re being exhausted and herded more and more into conflict and survival mode – and the hope we can find our way back to what’s real.”
A. Smyth will celebrate the release of Long Night which was produced once again by Darragh Nolan (Sacred Animals, Patricia Lalor) with a show in The Grand Social, Dublin on March 23rd which will be the first opportunity Smyth and band have had to play ‘Last Animals’ live. Special guests on the night are Jackie Beverly and Will Troy. Tickets €14.50 on sale here.
Following the Dublin headliner A. Smyth shall hit the road with kindred spirit Robert John Ardiff for This Little Tour of Ours.
