Well-known local bands and performers Jayne, Parliament Square, dREA and John Steele are set to feature this week as part of a special concert at Dolans Warehouse to raise money for the humanitarian appeal in Ukraine.

A Gig For Ukraine takes place this Friday, April 1st with all proceeds from this event being donated to Medicins Sans Frontieres, Ukraine.

Speaking in advance of Friday’s special event, Neil Dolan of Dolans Presents said: “We are delighted to be able to host this event which will raise much needed funds for those affected by the current situation in Ukraine. The line-up of respected Limerick musicians promises to be a very special evening and we hope that Limerick audiences will support this worthwhile fundraising event”.

The gig will feature the multi-talented Jayne, Parliament Square who have been working on new material for release later this year and are always a compelling live act to catch. Also featuring is well-respected singer-songwriter dREA,the former frontman of Limerick’s Vesta Varro, and the one and only John Steele will take to the stage. Not satisfied with his duties on guitar for The Flag Listeners Steele has also released two accomplished solo albums, the most recent being ‘Naturally Nocturnal’ which received much critical acclaim.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Medicins Sans Frontieres, Ukraine.
