10 Irish acts have the chance to play Glastontbury this summer.

Some of our favourite acts in Ireland have the chance to play Glastonbury after being shortlisted in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition.

Over 1000 acts applied for the chance to play Glastonbury and those acts have been whittled down to a shortlist of 120 acts of which 8 lucky acts will compete at live finals in April for a slot on one of the main stages at this year’s festival.

The Irish acts shortlisted include Choice Music Prize winners Rusangano Family, Plec Picks 2017 act Jafaris who you may recognise from the movie Sing Street, Plec Picks 2016 act AE Mac, as well as Apella, Tadgh, Toby Karr, Silences, Kudu Blue, Owen Denvir and For Foresters.
