Ahead of the release of their self-titled debut album (that will be streaming exclusively on GoldenPlec), we have the first single from the long overdue album.
New Secret Weapon, an alternative rock/punk/prog band, formed their unique sound back in Knockanstockan in 2007. Since then, they’ve been crafting their art and generating ripples of excitement in the Irish and UK music scene.
The single Look at the State of It is a welcome sound for all NSW fans. Irish music fans who have seen the lads play have always been frustrated with the lack of material available. Until now that is.
The production on the single holds all the energy and power that can be witnessed in the live arena. A special nod goes out to Rían Trench, also of Solar Bears, who was tasked with recording and co-producing this live set over a four days stint in The Meadow, Wicklow. The sound is BIG and is exactly what you want from a NSW record.
The album will be released online on the 21st of April with a headline show in The Button Factory on the 25th of April to follow.
GoldenPlec will be exclusively streaming the album from the 14th-21st of April.
