Composed by Evangelia Rigaki, and libretto by W.N. Herbert, Dublin is to see the premiere of the new opera AntiMidas, or Bankers in Hadestomorrow night in Trinity’s Samuel Beckett Theatre.

Based on financial crisis, and the degree of blame that should be placed upon the bankers in relation to the downturn, the opera turns to Greek mythology as a method of highlighting its belief that they’re all going straight to hell.

The show starts at 8pm, and tickets can be booked at www.tcd.ie/Beckett-Theatre/theatre-events  .
