GPAt the end of the month Kate’s Party will be launching their debut album ‘Hollow’.

The album is out on March 29th and they will be celebrating its launch in The Grand Social with special guests on the night including power pop super group Women’s Christmas.

The first song off the Kate’s Party album is called Welcome To Seahaven and the song centre’s around a theme of 1999 Box Office hit The Truman Show and hits on the themes of anxiety and paranoia. Any fans of the film will know the town is called Seahaven. According to the press release for the track, vocalist Sarah from the band was convinced after watching the film that there were camera’s in the trees (hence the lyric ‘Welcome To Seahaven, the leaves are watching us’.
