A year ago, Louis Walsh appeared on the Late Late show to announce that he was going to do a nationwide talent search to look for Irelands next big boy-band.

He auditioned over 1000 hopefuls, eventually whittling it down to 6. That band has been named HomeTown and consists of 6 young lads. Ryan McLoughlin (from Wicklow), Cian Morrin (from Mayo), Dayl Cronin (from Roscommon), Brendan Murray (from Galway), Josh Gray (from Wicklow) and Dean Gibbons (Dublin).

The have been locked away for a year now, preparing and will make their debut on the Late Late Show on May 30th. They play their first live show in Cork at Live at the Marquee as support to Shane Filan.
