Cork Festival Quiet Lights are bringing Maija Sofia & Elaine Howley to Levis’ Corner House in Ballydehob, West Cork for a special broadcast performance. The performances from two of Ireland’s most intriguing musicians will be available to view for free from Thursday 27th May

Elaine Howley is best-known as the singer in the psychedelic rock group The Altered Hours who recently signed with Pizza Pizza Records, but is also as a member of ambient trio Crevice, alternative folk group Morning Veils and Howlbux and is currently working towards her first full length solo release.

Galway’s Choice Music Prize nominated artist Maija Sofia, meanwhile, took Irish music scene by storm with her striking debut album ‘Bath Time’ (2019) which featured many dark,vividly constructed tracks such as ‘The Wife Of Michael Cleary’.
