Hot on the heels of the news that the folks behind The Good Room and It Takes A Village are reopening Cork’s Kino as a venue; the new proprietors have announced that the first gigs in the venue will be part of Sounds From A Safe Harbour 2019.

Odyssey an experimental riff on Emily Wilson’s lucid translation of Homer’s Odyssey featuring Todd Dahlhoff, Leslie Feist & Shahzad Ismaily will take place on September 13th. Odyssey, first performed during the 37d03d residency in Berlin.

The experimental festival also had a massive affect on the second artist announced Sir Was. 37d03d reinvigorated the Swedish artist whose second experimental album is due for release later this year.

The experimental spirit of 37d03d will permeate not only these performances but Sounds From A Safe Harbour as a whole.
