Belfast’s New Pagans have shared a live performance video for their Northern Ireland Music Prize song of the year nominated track It’s Darker, recorded at The Palm House.

The band consists of several well-known musicians Cahir O’Doherty (Jetplane Landing & Fighting With Wire) alongside vocalist Lyndsey McDougall, drummer Conor McAuley (Balkan Alien Sound), bassist Claire Miskimmin (Girls Names) and guitarist Alan McGreevy (Rupture Dogs).

The Belfast quintet have also been nominated for Best Live Act at the Northern Ireland Music Prize which takes place at a special live event at Ulster Hall on November 7th.

The band are already looking forwards with new single Charlie Has The Face Of A Saint which was directed by the band’s bassist Claire Miskimmin alongside Lyndsey and was inspired by their adoration for horror films.

Having impressed with their recent performance at The Workman’s Club for Ireland Music Week, New Pagans will return to Dublin this December for a show in The Bello Bar with Havvk who have recently relocated back to Dublin after a stint in Berlin for several years.
