Having recently appeared supporting Mumford & Sons on their US tour, King Charles will be returning to Dublin to play Whelan’s on Saturday April 27th, and he brings with him his own unique glam-folk stylings.

Making his debut into the world of bands and gigging in a fully costumed Kiss tribute band, King Charles never set himself up for the average. To reach his present sound, he has drawn on all his influences – afro-beat, rock & roll, glam, folk, hip-hop and country- and the result is seen in his distinctive sound. With a life-threatening accident prompting the finishing of his debut album, King Charles has seen huge success with the record ‘LoveBlood’. Since it’s conception, he’s been spotted by Universal Republic, and received an MTV New Band for 2012 nomination, amongst many other honours.

Tickets for this show go on sale on Friday December 14th at 9am, at a price of €13. Tickets available to purchase on ticketmaster.ie, and from all ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
