This week’s round-up of the best new Irish music features 30 tracks from a wide array of artists, but fear not, there’s none of that Christmas music. BellX1 and Dowry Strings present Live at Luke’s while Crash Ensemble celebrate their 25th anniversary with ‘Reactions’.

This week’s cover star is Biig Piig who has returned to her blissed out roots with Mac Wetha and Lord Apex on ‘Don’t Go Falling In Love’. And It’s a good week for collabs with London Irish singer Theo and Josh Gray combing on the 90s pop vibe ‘For You’. Soft Boy, Gaptoof links with Bristol rapper Mushkilla on ‘Stay Up’, rising dance star Ryan Ennis brings in LA based vocalist Sadie Rose Van for ‘Take My Love’.

Fresh from a surprise appearance at Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Picture This deliver the piano powered ballad ‘Get On My Love’ elsewhere in the pop field, Brad Heidi continues to try and force his way to a seat at the Irish pop singer-songwriter table with ‘Dancing In My Head’, while Robert Grace continues to skew the formula by added some emo and hyperpop vibes to the mix on ‘Not OK’. And if that’s your bag, then check out ‘Pretty Sweet’ the brand new EP from Daire Patel

I Have A Tribe makes a stirring comeback with the jazzy ballad ‘Teddy’s Song’, while Ex-Otherkin frontman Blood Donor is back with ‘Man, What Have You Done?’ from his forthcoming debut album. Elsewhere in indie, Driven Snow deliver their third single ‘Flickers of You’ and Craig Walker and The Cold return with the Radiohead-tinged ‘Junkie Sunset’.

Fresh from winning best single at the NI Music Prize, Ferna is back with ‘New City’, Waterford’s Carrie Baxter releases her first solo single of the year following her collab with Jafaris earlier this year and Kaya T impresses with the smooth ‘Body & Mind’.

Abnd if that wasn’t enough there’s also new music from the likes of The Ocelots, Joe Skylark, Christian Cohle, BENJAMYN, Uppbeat, Outsider YP, New Atlas, Sean Daly, Meltybrains? and more besides, so dive in.
