Ireland Music Week has announced several new partnerships and its second round of delegates attending the conference including Geoff Travis of Rough Trade and Gabrielle Corbett of Vevo.

We knew our ambition to grow from a three day artist-centred event to a five day business and artists event would need the support of the wider music industry from partners whose ambition matched ours. We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from the music and music tech industry, and local and national government support for Ireland Music Week 2019. With the support of our partners, we’ll expand the breadth of our professional development offerings for artists and those who work with them, as well as showcase those artists to a global audience.” says Angela Dorgan, CEO of First Music Contact.

Thee new partnerships announced include CD Baby, Andrson, and Budget Music Videos. The benefits of these partnerships will include

All 50 IMW showcasing artists will receive a CD Baby distribution package, and one showcasing artist will win a CD Baby Artist Bursary. The 2500 grant will provide one band or solo artist with the time and resources to develop their artistic practice, as well as mentoring and a comprehensive artist services package from CD Baby to support them every step of the way.

Audio AI startup Andrson are offering an exclusive opportunity for 2019 Ireland Music Week showcasing artists and applicants to be first users of the Andrson platform. The benefits for artists include: direct exposure and communication with industry (labels/management/agents), profitable discovery and monetization of their music, control over their profile and uploads, and access to bespoke analytics. Andrson will officially launch its new platform at Ireland Music Week, and acts joining the pilot will be the only artists discoverable on Andrson during the conference. The Andrson team will also offer workshops for artists on how to get the most out of the platform.

Budget Music Videos meanwhile, will lead workshops for delegates on ‘How to Make Great DIY Music Videos.’ Artists and conference delegates will also have the opportunity to test the new Budget Music Videos platform.

Video is king when it comes to building your audience and engaging fans—and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. We’re delighted to partner with Ireland Music Week to share insights on how to make a high-quality DIY music video on a budget, from selecting and working with a production team, to communicating your vision, storyboarding, planning your shoot, editing, and more.” says Loraa White, Company Director for Budget Music Videos.

As well as these new partners those attending the conference and playing the showcase will have the opportunity to meet leading international music executives.
