Dave Grohl and his beautiful Foo Fighting friends will be headlining as Oxegen 2011 kicks off in style.
Bringing a bit more of a rockier vibe to start, the Foo Fighters are one of the biggest bands on the planet and will definitely be a crowd puller with the band as though my memory might be failing, I saw them at Slane and Witness but don’t remember too many other visits to Ireland which for me is a great factor for a festival headliner to have not been here too often.
Oxegen are releasing a limited batch of early bird saver tickets at 2007 prices from Wednesday 15th December and you can secure your tickets with a €100 deposit and then pay the remaining two instalments by 31st March and 30th June. This is also a chance to get a taster of the bands upcoming seventh studio album!.

Oxegen will be held at Punchestown Racecourse at Naas, County Kildare on Thursday 7th July to Sunday 10th July 2011 subject to licence.til Friday 31st December.
