Festival Details

Vantastival is a gloriously independent, award-winning festival which will take place at Beaulieu House this June bank holiday weekend, on the sloping banks of the river Boyne.

Music fans and campervanners flock to this unique family-friendly event for its fantastically diverse line up, super-friendly vibes, and quirky extras.  Other attractions include gourmet food stalls, festival traders, scheduled kids’ activities, arts, crafts and many other fun and novel additions, ensuring that Vantastival has something for everyone, with or without a campervan!

Campervans are welcome to park on site (right next to the arena) at no extra charge, but you don’t have to have a campervan to enjoy all that’s on offer and there is a dedicated tent campsite for those without vans! Our ‘Bring Your Own Booze’ policy also means that Vantastival is one of the most affordable festivals in Ireland.

Opening Times

The festival site will be open from 10.30am on Saturday 3rd June 2017. The box office will be open from 10.30am to 11.00pm. On Sunday the box office will be open from 11am to 11pm. Please note: There is no access to the Vantastival site on Friday 2nd June. WE DO NOT HAVE CREDIT CARD FACILITIES ON SITE AND CAN ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS ONLY FOR TICKETS PURCHASED ON THE DAY.

Wristbands

Tickets will be exchanged at the box office for wristbands. Tickets for minors cannot be purchased in advance and should be paid for at the box office on the day.

Alcohol

In order to make this festival as affordable as possible, it is a BRING YOUR OWN BEER event. Cans of beer are welcome, no glass bottles are allowed on site. Please transfer everything to plastic bottles before heading to the festival. Our festival bar will stock a range of locally crafted beers and cider, as well as a good selection of spirits. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will have to sign accepting responsibility. Anyone under the age of 18 drinking alcohol, along with their accompanying adult, will be asked to leave the event. Proof of age is required for minors and accompanying adults.

Car Park

The Car Park is adjacent to the festival site and will be well signposted. Please note: Beaulieu House will charge for use of the car park, money to go towards the upkeep of the estate. Price for parking is €3 for day parking or €5 for weekend parking. For safety reasons we cannot allow patrons to drive cars into the campsite to unload their belongings, but even if you have to make a couple of trips from the car, it should only take a few minutes. Absolutely no camping will be permitted in the Car Park. No sound systems will be permitted in the car park and anyone attempting to operate a sound system here will be asked to leave the site.

Camping

There are three main camping areas on the festival site – one for residential vehicles, one for those pitching tents and one for family camping. The campervan campsite will be further divided, with a specific area for classic VWs. Family camping for both tents and campervans will be located together. Day Ticket holders will not be allowed to camp overnight, unless they have a Sunday camping ticket.

Campervans & Caravans

On arrival, campervan and caravan drivers must leave their vehicles while exchanging tickets for wristbands at the box office. Once on site, campervans must remain on site – vehicles leaving the site during the weekend will not be re-admitted. After exchanging tickets for wristbands, caravans may be pulled to the campsite by car, then the car removed to the Car Park.

Facilities

Toilets will be dispersed throughout the site, as will drinking-water dispensers. We will have one shower block located close to the family campsite.

Electric hook ups

There will be a very limited number electric hook ups available in the family campsite and they will be given on a first come first served basis, but we really try to keep these for families with very small children and babies so unless you are really in need of the power, just use your leisure battery. A charge of €30 for the weekend will apply for an electric hook up.

Food & Drink

There will be a range of food and drink stalls open all weekend which should cater to every taste.
