We have been keeping tabs on The Future West a lot closer than Obama allegedly was on Trump. We can't confirm or deny use of wire taps either. We first got whiff of their potential on debut single Call Me Stupid and then we premiered latest single Gone Too Long which has made the cut for their excellent debut album 'Holy Shit, Here Comes The Future West'.

It's a retro futuristic psychedelia with tinges of modern synth and lo-fi vocals. Songs like No One's Missing You and Never We'll Be zip by with plenty of urgency, while the sprawling Seven Ways To Get Head show a band unafraid to take things off in a tangent that snares with repeat listens.

It's this mixture of instant appeal and slowly revealing depth which makes their debut album 'Holy Shit, Here Comes The Future West' such a winning combination.
