2019 has been a busy year for Ezra Furman, among other things he penned the soundtrack to the hit Netflix show ‘Sex Education’ starring Gillian Anderson. Furman also provided around half a dozen previously released tracks and penned new material for the show including a track believed to be called Every Feeling which is yet to be officially released. Furman even makes a cameo in the show at the school dance.

Back in February, Furman finally released the Ronseal titled 2016 Record Store Day collection ‘Songs By Others’ to streaming sites; featuring 7 covers by a diverse range of acts including Beck, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Little Richard and Jackie Wilson. His version of Good Book by Melanie also features on the Sex Education soundtrack.

Furman also released new music, officially, in the shape of Calm Down aka I Should Not Be Alone, the first single to be drawn by his upcoming album ‘Twelve Nudes’ (out August 30th) with his new band The Visions.

Today, Furman shared two more songs from ‘Twelve Nudes’ I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend and Evening Prayer AKA Justice.

Ahead of the release of ‘Twelve Nudes’ Furman will be hitting the road in Europe including Dublin and Cork dates later this month.
